Four Reasons to Rent from Saunder' Rv

Saunders RV Rentals, Inc. was founded in 1986 by John and Kathy Saunders. The first renter of their 1984 Manorette Motorhome was a realtor from the Chicago area. He was promoting the sale of newly developed lake property in central Wisconsin, and was advertising the use of a class C motorhome for a weekend to travel to the site and spend a weekend learning more about the properties for sale, while "camping out" in a motorhome free of charge. The coaches were picked up and returned to Milwaukee with the developer paying the fee for the use of the coach. Later in 1986, Saunders RV Rentals, Inc. landed their first "true" rental of their coach by Pete Vuchovich of the Milwaukee Brewers, who traveled with his family to Florida over the Christmas holidays to visit his wife's parents.

 

From 1986 to 1991,the business was run from the family home in Milwaukee; the cleaning was done in the alley, and check outs and check ins were done in the street in front of the home. In 1990, a second motorhome was added, a 1989 Fleetwood Jamboree Rallye. To this day, the Saunders RV reservation center remains in the Saunders' home. In 1991, Saunders RV moved to a service station located on Hwy 100 and Burleigh Street in Wauwatosa, where the fleet grew to 6 motorhomes.

 

In February of 2000, a 10,000 square foot Truck Terminal on 9 City of Milwaukee Lots was purchased in the center of the Metro Milwaukee area, near State Fair Park. Currently, the fleet consists of eight coaches.

 

Saunders RV’s policy is to purchase new coaches, specially equipped, for rental through two Peak Rental Seasons (June 1 through Mid August). Following the second Peak Season of rental, the coaches are sold to allow for the next model year's coaches to arrive in the spring for the upcoming rental season.

 

Business has grown through the years with a good part of business coming from repeat customers and referrals.

 

In 2001, a web site was added (SaundersRVRentals.com), which gave credibility to the business and culminated in the sale of four Fleetwood motor homes to Le Mesa RV in San Diego, CA - SIGHT UNSEEN. The deal was sealed when Le Mesa RV viewed the web site. The current web site (Saundersrv.com) is in it’s second design change done by EsolutionsOnLine.com. The web site will be constantly analyzed and updated with new features and exciting new information designed to attract new customers and enhance RENTAL opportunities for our existing customer base.
